2026 Game Theme: Byte to Bite

Farm-to-table food automation: design, build and program a robot from scratch using only the provided kit of parts.

What we do

Build a real robot

Design, prototype, and drive a robot that completes a new game challenge every season.

Beyond the machine

The engineering notebook, marketing presentation, video design, web design, t-shirt design and more are all judged, so every skill counts.

Community

Teams cheer, trade pins, and make friends from other schools while building something together.

Compete

Compete at the regional hub competition, then advance to the state championship.

Teams

Four teams

  1. Manufacturing

    CAD, prototyping, fabrication and testing the robot mechanisms.

  2. Programming

    Writing, testing and debugging the code that reads sensors, runs the motors and puts the robot under the driver's control.

  3. Engineering Notebook

    Documenting the design process, decisions, and lessons learned.

  4. Business

    Team brand, social media, mascot, video design, t-shirt design, web design, posters and the marketing presentation.
